DescriptionThey were listed by volunteers. These eighteen unsorted boxes of Worcester City material contained documents that did not appear on any inventory or list held by the Record Office. The majority seem to be related to nineteenth century sanitation (particularly the Commissioners for Improvement), nineteenth and twentieth century finance (especially debentures, stocks and benefits) and twentieth century Town Clerk's correspondence. Volunteers went through each box and listed a brief title and date of each document. This is not a catalogue, as there has been no attempt to arrange or appraise documents.
