DescriptionYear Books are bound copies of the Council summonses and minutes produced annually. They contain miscellaneous copies of reports, papers and correspondence circulated amongst the Council. There is an alphabetical index in the front of the volume. The volume contains minutes and reports from all officers and committees, permanent and temporary, covering finances, improvements, trade, navigation, public health, laws, utilities, services, employment etc.

Many of these copies belonged to Edward Rigg and were kept in the Guildhall..
